What is Alpha Grit Academy and what makes it different?
Alpha Grit Academy is a futures trading education platform focused on providing real-world strategies, mentorship, and a supportive trader community. Our mission is to make professional-level training accessible to both beginners and experienced traders.
What background knowledge do I need for the course?
None. This is a beginner-friendly futures trading course that takes you from zero to a structured, risk-aware approach. We start with market foundations, platform setup, and chart mechanics, then progress to entries, risk management, and review routines.
You’ll practice in a simulated environment using NinjaTrader® (free to download) — so you can build confidence before you ever consider live capital.
What you’ll need
- A computer and stable internet
- NinjaTrader® 8 (we show you how to install and set up)
- 3–5 hours/week for lessons and practice
- Curiosity and commitment to a rules-based process — No broker or live account required for the course.

Can I trade futures part-time or do I need to trade full-time?
Yes—part-time is possible. Futures trade during extended hours most weekdays, so you can work within set windows that fit your schedule.
